The Stevens County Republican Party fights for and supports the founding principles of our nation:

EQUAL JUSTICE

ALL people have a right to equal treatment under the law. We support the enforcement of the Bill of Rights as written and intended by the Founders.

PROPERTY RIGHTS

It is the right of all citizens to legally acquire, own, use, and dispose of private property. It is your right to protect your property with reasonable force against another person who is threatening to infringe upon your property.

ENUMERATED RIGHTS – 1ST AMENDMENT

We fully support the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and as such, we believe we have the freedom to think, speak, worship, and disagree without fear of government interference or penalty.

KEEP AND BEAR ARMS

LIMITED GOVERNMENT

Government is best when it governs least. Big government infringes upon the rights of the citizens, is oppressive, despotic, and unjust.

NATIONAL DEFENSE

We believe America must have the strongest national defense necessary to defend our homes, our borders, and our national interests.

KEEP AND BEAR ARMS – 2ND AMENDMENT

We fully support the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and as such, “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

FREE MARKETS

Free Markets empower individuals by creating new opportunities and by encouraging innovation. Free markets allow growth for the individual and for the economy as a whole.

INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS

The U.S. Declaration of Independence declares “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” As such, we believe individual human rights come from our Creator and not from the government. We recognize the right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness from conception to natural death.
